S-Band tracking telemetry receiver
The telemetry tracking receiver operates in the S-band and is used for the reception of
FM data signals with a modulation frequency between 200 Hz and 10 MHz.
The IF filter bandwidth can be switched between 10 MHz and 50 MHz.
The receiver provides selectable filter bandwidths of 30, 150, 300, 600, 2400,
4800 KHz and 10 MHz for baseband signal filtering.
The receiver is optimized for the reception of radio signals from non-stabilized
transmitters. During reception a drift of the transmitter carrier frequency of up to
30 MHz can be compensated without readjusting the receiver.
The receiver provides a stabilized and filtered +24 V (max. 300 mA) supply
for operating an external LNA
The receiver has a graphic LCD showing the currrent reception frequency and selected
video bandwidth. In addition the received signal strength (RSSI) and the deviation of
the current reception frequency from the actual transmitter carrier frequency is
indicated. The LCD also displays the current drawn from the external +24 V connector.
The receiver has the following selectable inputs:
- Active input (internal LNA), N jack
- Passive input (e.g. if an external LNA is used), N jack
The following signals are provided at the outputs:
- IF signal, N jack
- Video, BNC jack
- RSSI (DC voltage proportional to the input power), BNC jack
- Drift (Deviation of transmitter from receiver center frequency, proportional DC voltage), BNC jack
- +24 V / 300 mA, 5 pole DIN jack
